The next Then & Now meeting will be at St. Paul’s Church, Colwyn Bay on Wednesday 9th September. St Paul’s is one of the most significant buildings in the town and our meeting provides a unique opportunity for us to explore in detail its contribution to the development of Colwyn Bay over the years.
We will be considering its fascinating history, its architecture, and its beautiful memorial windows with Buzz Squires, who was secretary of the church for many years. The heritage group’s Secretary, Gemma Campbell, will also introduce us to the links between the church and the Erskine family.
We meet a 10.00am inside the church, when tea and coffee will be served and we will begin at around 10.15am. There will time for questions, and we aim to finish at 11.30am.
Then & Now meetings are open to anyone – there is no need to book, so please feel free to invite people you know who might be interested, they would be very welcome.
