The demolition of Colwyn Bay’s Market Hall on Princes Drive started at the end of February 2013.
The buildings from the old National Milk Bar (later KFC) as far as Wetherspoons were all demolished.
As well as the Market Hall itself, other shops along this row included J & J Orlik, jewellers, Parry’s Perfumery and Jackson’s Delicatessen.
For a short time after KFC moved to Abergele Road, an art gallery for local artists opened.
The future of the site remains uncertain although suggestions have included a bowling alley.
