In 1985 about 1,000 Jehovah’s Witness volunteers from all over the country came to build the Kingdom Hall and two days later the twelfth quick build undertaken in the UK by the Jehovah’s Witness church was completed. Work started at 7am on a Saturday and by tea time the following day the brick building was finished, carpeted and with curtains hung.
